A limited edition serigraph print on paper titled Envy by well-listed Russian-born French artist and fashion designer Erté (1892 – 1990), from his series The Seven Deadly Sins, published in 1983. This work depicts a woman admiring at her reflection in a hand-held mirror, under the gaze of a large, imposing black face. This work is signed in pencil to the lower right margin and is numbered 280 out of an edition of 350 to the lower left margin. It is presented behind a beige mat with black, red and silver tone liners, under glass, in a wood frame with a glossy cream finish and metallic accents, and is ready to hang with a wire. A printed artist bio is present to the verso.
