Item Details
An antique late Victorian writing-arm chair with woven back and seat. The frame features a pierced and carved, tablet crest above a caned back and a splint seat. The arms are flat and rounded, with the proper, right arm having a hinged, writing surface. The chair rises on ring- and sausage-turned, front legs joined by a spindled, box stretcher to the raking, back legs.
