An original acrylic on canvas painting by Cincinnati artist Elizabeth O’Neill (1930 – 2018). This painting of a Bald Eagle is signed by the artist in ink to the lower left. The gallery-wrapped canvas is presented without framing, ready to hang.

Elizabeth O’Neill was born in Cleveland, Ohio and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from St. Mary of the Woods College in Indiana. After furthering her education with graduate work at the Cleveland and Chicago Art Institutes and Northern Illinois University, she spent twelve years teaching art to inner-city high school students in Chicago. ‘There,’ she says, ‘I learned the grassroots of humanity and found expression to be a saving factor.’
