A circa 1976 vintage Elton John ‘Captain Fantastic’ pinball machine, manufactured by Bally. The backglass art depicts Elton John as his iconic character ‘Captain Fantastic’ from the 1975 album Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirt Cowboy, playing a futuristic red Bally pinball machine before a crowd of jubilant fans. Notably, some risque elements were hidden in the background art and later partially censored with mirrored star designs. This machine has been modified to be free to play, includes the key to the front access panel, and was in working condition at the time of cataloging.
