An 1862 Tower percussion musket. This rifle has had alterations, later replacements and repairs, including the lockplate and the stock. The brass buttplate is marked ‘Prov. No. 37’. Enfield rifles were commonly imported by Confederate soldiers during the American Civil War. For decorative use only.
