A vintage original woodblock print on paper Yound and Easy Ian by American artist Hope Brooks Meryman (1931-1975). The whimsical print depicts a young boy lying on his back under a blue sky. The work is titled and signed by the artists hand in pencil and presented matted beneath glass in an aluminum frame. Hope Brooks Meryman illustrated children’s books and was presented with an award from the American Library Association for the book ‘Why the Sky is So Far Away’ in 1974.
