Metal Accented Empire Style Chest of Drawers

Item Details

An antique or vintage Empire style chest of drawers. This stained wooden piece has a deep top drawer slightly overhanging three drawers of graduated depth, all with hand cut dovetail joints, a center escutcheon, and ring pulls on decorative plates. Above the top drawer is a floral pressed metal strip, and a floral metal mount rests on either side of the top drawer; between each of the remaining drawers is a brass colored solid metal strip. The lower drawers are flanked by ring turned columnar accents that continue to the feet.
