1869 First Edition "Queen of the Air"

An 1869 antique hardcover volume of Queen of the Air: Being a Study of the Greek Myths of Cloud and Storm, by Victorian British art critic and writer John Ruskin. This is the first printing of the first edition, published by Smith, Elder & Co. of London. It is bound in a green full leather hardcover, with a paneled spine with stamped and gilt designs and lettering. It is printed on fine moire paper with gilt page edges.
