"Envoy" Chair with Desk by American Seating Company, circa 1946

A pair of circa 1946 classroom desks by American Seating Company. These Envoy chairs have two wood horizontal slats to the backrest, wooden seats, and grey metal bodies with an enclosed book shelf under the seat. Attached to each frame is an adjustable-height wooden and melamine resin topped desk with pencil rest.
