An oil painted shaped wood sculpture titled To the one I love a(skill bud) by Kenneth “Allen” Wilson (Summerville, Georgia; 20th/21st Century), created in 1989. This work features a sinuous blue flower surrrounded by rings of various vibrant colors, set on a black painted wood base. The title of the work is inscribed on top of the base in gold-tone ink. It is signed to the lower right of the front edge of the base. Several inscriptions are present to the underside of the base including the artist’s signature, the date of completion, and one which numbers the work ‘1035’.

Kenneth “Allen” Wilson was the grandson of Howard Finster. He lived and worked with Howard at Paradise Garden in Summerville, Georgia.
