Vintage Chippendale Style Mahogany Secretary

Item Details

A vintage Chippendale style mahogany secretary. This rectangular top piece features a broken scroll pediment flanking a central finial over two glass panel cabinet doors with shaped mullions. The cabinet doors open to two full width shelves. This piece features a slant front, drop-panel over three dovetail joinery drawers with a serpentine facade, brass batwing plates with bail handles, and escutcheons. It terminates on claw and ball feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
