A watercolor folk painting with acrylic embellishments on paper by self-taught American artist Z.A. Weaver (20th century). This work features an elevated view of a yellow farm house next to a couple barns in a green fenced landscape. The work is signed ‘Z.A. Weaver’ in ink to the lower right. Presented under glass with beige matting, it is housed in a gold-tone gesso and wood frame.

Z.A. Weaver was a self-taught Outsider artist from Centre County, Pennsylvania. A farmer by trade, no one knew that he painted in his free time and he hid his works from the public, storing them in a box in his drawer. They were later to be discovered by his son.
