A 19th Century oil painting on board of a mountainous landscape surrounding a large, central lake. The piece is painted in the style of the Hudson River School with luminous light and strong attention to detail. A grouping of boats is scattered on the lake with a town visible in the background. The work is unsigned. It is presented in a wooden frame.

Condition

- accretion to painting; UV light reveals in painting touch-ups of less than 1/4th dime size areas; nicks and wear to finish of frame.
