Cookie Jars Featuring Helen Hutula and Los Angeles Pottery with Figural Teapot

A vintage Helen Hutula Original Tat-L-Tale ceramic cookie jar and more. The jar is a figure of a lady in a large dress in a gossipy pose. Her dress is decorated with floral and polka dot motif bands. The jar has a mechanism inside to hear the gossip; however this is untested. The piece is hand signed to the underside in black underglaze, ‘© Helen’s Ta-L-Tale / D55 / Helen Hutula / Original’. It is accompanied with a Los Angeles Pottery Cookies All Over lidded cookie jar featuring a clown figure, circa 1950’s, stamped to the underside. Also included is a Department 56 figural teapot featuring a hand-painted chauffeur figure dressed in a white outfit with pink piping, marked to the underside.

Condition
- surface scratches and wear throughout; cracking and crazing to Hutula cookie jar with chipping to interior rim. The interior mechanism was not tested. Crazing to clown cookie jar; staining and residue throughout.
