Hand-Knotted Persian-Style Wool Accent Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian-style wool accent rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of scarlet, indigo, ivory, sky blue, sepia, gold, carnation, and slate. The open scarlet field begins with a central diamond pendant medallion with an overall floral theme, along with spandrels grounded in ivory infilled with flowering branches. Framing the field is a floral meander border, with a pair of laleh abbasi guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
