Item Details
A hand-knotted Jaldar bohkara area rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, sapphire, tangerine, and mauve and features two columns comprised of octagonal guls alternating with Yamut medallions. The field is framed by compound dart and diamond guard borders, while the primary border displays an unresolved medallion motif. Finishing the piece are elem panels with a lattice design, mauve overcast selvedges, and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
