A late 19th century wood engraving on paper titled Brügge, dated 1876. The work depicts a solitary figure standing within the interior of a church, possibly located in Bruges, Belgium. The piece is dated, titled and initialed ‘HH’ in plate to the lower margin. The composition is presented behind glass, mounted onto matting and housed in a carved wood frame.

Condition

- minor wear and finish loss throughout the frame; scratches throughout the glass; minor toning throughout the paper; paper has been previously trimmed.
