Item Details
A pair of vintage Japanese Satsuma vases and a Satsuma teapot with wooden pedestal. The vases are in a tapered form, with chocolate brown background decorated with geisha figures, mountains and flowers in shades of blue, gold, red orange, off white and green with dark banding to the top and to the base, and with moriage detailing to the design. The teapot is ovoid in form with curvilinear handle and spout decorated with gilded scrollwork. The teapot is decorated with a court scene in subtle shades of gold, red orange, cream and umber. The teapot comes with a decorative pierced wood base.
