A vintage set of sterling silver flatware in the Processional pattern by the Fine Arts Sterling Silver Company; a division of the International Silver Company that was active from 1944 until 1979 in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. The set includes thirteen dinner forks, thirteen salad forks, thirteen teaspoons, thirteen place spoons, thirteen dinner knives, one pair of sugar tongs, eight iced tea spoons, one carving fork, one carving knife, two serving spoons, one master butter knife, one serving fork, one cream ladle, and one jelly server. Each utensil features a tapering handle with gadrooning trim and scrolled floral accents to its terminal, most of which are marked ‘Fine Arts Sterling Processional’ to their undersides. These pieces, excluding the hollow handled knives and carving utensils with stainless steel blades and tines, have a total approximate weight of 82.495 ozt. The lot additionally includes two silver plate youth forks in the Remembrance by 1847 Rogers Bros. and a silver plate olive fork by the International Silver Company.
