Vintage Chinese Silk and Japanese Rayon Dresses
Item Details
A pair of vintage Chinese and Japanese black silk and rayon dresses. The Japanese dress is in a cheongsam style with a mandarin collar, short sleeves, asymmetrical frog closure to the top and deep side slits, fully lined in an off- white fabric. The Chinese dress was handmade in Hong Kong and is designed with a collarless neckline with shallow V-cut, placket front closure, a full pleated skirt and elbow-length sleeves. The dress is in a floral brocade silk satin, fully lined in a rich shade of red silk.
