A hand-knotted Indo-Oushak wool area rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of ivory, cornsilk, coral, aqua, and wheat. The ivory colored field features a design made of over-sized palmettes, floral sprays, and a lattice of flowering vines throughout. Framing the field is a main color grounded palmette and floral designed border, along with a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton kilim skirt with a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
