A set of two etchings with aquatint on paper by listed Cincinnati artist Ruth Rolfsen (1928 – 2018). These prints include titles Two and The Bead Maker. They are rendered with kinetic delineations and are unsigned.

Ruth Rolfsen was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and is known for her diverse printmaking skills. She graduated from the Art Academy of Cincinnati and produced a prolific collection of intaglios, serigraphs, cast paper sculptures, mixed media drawings, and lithographs throughout her life. Rolfsen’s work has been exhibited at the WCET Art Gallery and is privately collected.

Condition

- paper is billowed and contains marks to the margins; perforations to the upper corners of Two.
