Born in England, Thomas Bush Hardy was known for his oil and watercolor paintings of sailing vessels, seascapes, and fishing scenes off the coast of England. He was a memeber of the Royal Society of British Artists, and exhibited at the Royal Academy in London and Suffolk street galleries.
