Item Details
An antique oil painting on canvas signed ‘E. Camm’. Portrayed in a realistic classical style, this work features a young nude woman floating in the clouds, being kissed by a cherub. The work is signed to the lower right and presented in an antique gilt and gesso frame with foliate molding.
Condition
- stretcher marks throughout painting; two repair patches adhered to canvas verso; in painting present to cherub’s hand and woman’s neck; wear in frame includes small cracks, small chips, stains, and scratches throughout frame.
