A 14K yellow gold chain with sterling silver bezel pendant holding a Spanish Colonial cob. The pendant is set with a Spanish Colonial (Lima, Peru) Philip II ‘shield type’ silver cob, minted 1577-1588. Obverse: Crowned arms with “I-P” right and “o-D” (assayer Diego de la Torre) left. Reverse: Quartered lions and castles. The sterling silver bezel features a nautical motif and is held on a 14K yellow gold French rope chain. This necklace is accompanied with an envelope pouch.
