A painted trumeau style wall mirror by Henredon. Painted by Z. Castil, the upper panel is painted in a folk art style with sparrow and oak leaf branches, and an applied gold tone painted shell and scroll border. The lower panel features a beveled mirror. The overall frame includes a black and gold tone trimmed border, with mirrored ovals, and floral and foliate painted edge detailing. The tag is marked ‘Henredon,’ and ‘Z. Castil painted glass trum mirror.’ It includes a wire hanger to the verso.
