First Limited Edition "American Eagles" Signed by Author & 40 Aviators

A limited edition, first printing of American Eagles: A History of the United States Air Force, Heirloom Edition by Ron Dick and Dan Patterson. Signed, inscribed and dated to the front endpaper by Dan Patterson, this leather bound volume is number 190/1000. The book is also signed by forty celebrated American aviators to include Chuck Yeager, Charles Duke, Barbara London and Bud Anderson. A Certificate of Authenticity, signed by both authors is enclosed (Howell Press, Charlottesville, Virginia, 1997). Bound in brown leather with gilt lettering to the spine and front cover, the volume is housed in a gilt lettered slipcase.

The book is in the original linen covered sleeve.
