A pair of circa 1960s vintage evening gowns with sheer overskirts. This set includes a Lillie Rubin full-length, sleeveless light canary yellow evening gown with sheer pleated overlay, iridescent white sequins to the collar and empire waistline, and hook eye closures to collar and bottom of zipper, marked with label ‘Lillie Rubin’ to the interior; a white sleeveless sheath evening gown with sheer split-skirt overlay, iridescent white sequins to upper collar panel, silver foil thread embroidered to the upper chest with beaded loop fringe to the waistline in antique gold and clear, unmarked by designer label, marked size 13.

Condition
- yellow dress has spot stains to the front and back of pleated skirt sheer panels and is missing two eye clasps to collar.
- white gown has some discoloration to the hem, neckline and arm holes.
- some wear, loose threads, discoloration and light staining to be expected with age and use.
