19th Century Dutch 833 Silver Sugar Scoops with Silver Plate Nut Dish
Item Details
A pair of antique Dutch sugar scoops with a silver plate nut dish. The sugar scoops feature scenic repoussé bowls, ornate pierced handles, and figural terminals. These pieces are marked with sword-shaped 833 silver fineness marks, used in the Netherlands from 1814 until 1906, and have a total approximate weight of 1.285 ozt. They are presented with a silver plate nut dish with a scrolled foliate motif rim and a rustic style repoussé illustration to its center.
