Finely Hand-Knotted Pakistani Bokhara Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Pakistani Bokhara area rug. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of cranberry, ivory, mauve, and onyx. It offers a cranberry colored field with a classic lattice pattern containing elaborate style guls including heart and comb devices. Framing the field are several mauve grounded compound borders that feature diamond patterns throughout in black and ivory. Selvedges are overcast, finishing with diamond lattice elem panels along with knotted ivory fringe at either end. It is not labeled.
