An antique 1/6 plate tintype photograph of a Civil War soldier, shown in a seated position wielding a Bowie knife and holding an early 19th century Springfield musket, to his shoulder. The photograph is presented in a embossed leather case with gold tone embossed metal mat and red velvet lining to the inside of the cover.

Condition

- has residue under glass. Case shows some wear and is separated at the spine.
