Antique German Sugar Canister

A charming antique early 20th century German porcelain sugar canister, in a wonderful offwhite glaze with lovely swags of green flowers and leaves embellishing the front, along with ‘S u g a r’ in black stenciled script, and finished with a leaf border to the foot, tented lid with knob and leaf border. The canister is marked GMT & Bros. S640/12 Germany to the base.
