Pair of French Provincial Style Ladderback Armchairs
Item Details
A pair of French provincial style ladderback armchairs. The intentionally-distressed, wooden frames feature gently-arched crests above three conforming slats flanked by turned stiles with ball finials. The downswept, open arms continue to turned supports over rush seats and the chairs rise on turned legs joined by spindled, box stretchers. Also included are removable back and seat cushions in white fabric with multi-colored, floral sprays and foliate motifs. They are unmarked by the maker.
