A hand-knotted Persian Malayer Heriz area rug. This rug features a central lobed medallion with pendants and a magenta flower at its center. Palmettes and florets are scattered over a rust red field with grey spandrels. It has a main meandering floral border with running guard borders, overcast edges and natural warp fringe. Label to reverse.
