Spanish Louis XV Style Vitrine with Ormolu and Hand-Painted Panels by Soriano

A vintage Louis XV style mahogany finished vitrine cabinet. This upright cabinet features a sloped edge cornice with intricate ormolu trim, over a front bowed glass cabinet door, along with a hand-painted countryside figural scene panel. The door houses two adjustable curved glass shelves, along with a lined backing and lower shelf, and an open compartment to the bottom. The sides replicate the door with hand-painted lower panels and glass panes. This ornately piece rises on four cabriole legs, and is marked to the verso ‘Soriano Espana’.
