A grouping of three volumes of Hardee’s Rifle & Light Infantry Tactics for the Exercise and Maneuvers of Troops When Acting as Light Infantry or Riflemen….. by Brevet Lieut-Col W. J. Hardee. Included are Volumes One and Two clothbound books published in Louisville by J.W. Tompkins & Co., and a Volume One book of the same title published in Nashville by J.O. Griffith & Co. This book has an embossed clothbound cover heavily inscribed in pencil on the front end papers.

Condition
- two published in Louisville have yellowing and foxing, but most diagrams appear to be in place, the volume one published in Nashville has some water damage, severe foxing and yellowing, full page inscription.
