A limited edition offset lithograph after View of Cincinnati From Behind Newport Barracks by John Casper Wild (1804 – 1846). This print depicts a rolling hillside that overlooks a view of Cincinnati’s cityscape in 1836, which is accented with rowboats along the Ohio River. A printed inscription is found to the margins, notably attributing this as coming from the collection of the Cincinnati Historical Society. It is numbered 477 out of an edition of 1000 in graphite to the lower left margin. This piece is presented behind a beige mat with a dark green liner, under glass, in a stained wood frame and is ready to hang with a wire.
