- professional vehicle inspection notes are as follows: 1968 Volkswagen Beetle serial #118748366. This vehicle has undergone an amateur restoration in the past. It currently does not have brakes – vehicle has had some structural repairs made and will still need some before it is roadworthy. (Doors sag when opened – engine appears to have been upgraded to a later 1600 cc dual port). Engine was running day of inspection. In my opinion this vehicle could go through further restoration and made roadworthy or be used as a parts vehicle.
