Hand-Knotted Inscribed Baluch-Style Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted inscribed Baluch-style wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of crimson, black, camel, and ivory. The paneled crimson colored field features ornate peacock motifs, vase forms, and kaikalak motifs, each framed in thin diamond and X strips. Framing the field is a main kaikalak border, and a diamond guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
