A twentieth century Hand-Carved Central African Wooden Mask. This multi-colored clown-like mask features arched brows, slits for eyes, and a loose jawline attached with tan cloth ties. The forehead and hairline display two gold-toned rivets and gouging for detail. Two red stripes adorn the cheeks and multiple holes line the sides of the mask.

- to fair; accretions and surface abrasions throughout mask; fraying and toning to cloth ties; adhesive to top of mask.
