A framed needlepoint wall-hanging by Cincinnati artist Richard Gegner after well-listed Geometric Minimalist wildlife artist Charley Harper (Cincinnati, 1922 – 2007), titled Charley’s Cardinal. This piece depicts a single cardinal against a simple white background. It is signed by Gegner to the verso. This work is presented behind a black mat with white and black liners, under glass, in a wood frame with a distressed dark metallic finish and a hanging wire to the verso.
