Item Details

A vintage Chippendale style cedar ‘Virginia Maid’ Aroma-Tite chest by Lane. The chest includes a hinged rectangular lid upholstered in an embossed blue fabric printed with green, orange, and white floral motifs and button-tufted. The lid opens to a cedar-lined interior marked ‘Virginia Maid by Lane’ and ‘Aroma-Tite Construction.’ The front of the chest features four faux drawer fronts with brass-toned bail pulls on batwing plates. The chest rests on bracket feet joined by a scalloped apron with carved shell detail.
