A pair of original acrylic paintings on panel by contemporary American artist Steve Keene (New York, born 1957), titled One of the Presidents Long Ago: Roosevelt and One of the Presidents of America: Harrison. The paintings each depict the presidents painted in loose strokes of purple paint. They are both titled, initialed, and numbered ‘52218’ to the margins. They are presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation. Holes have been punched through the board where a hanging wire is strung.
Keene is known for creating massive amounts of small, quickly-painted works which he sells in unexpected venues, gaining him the title of the “Assembly-Line Picasso.” More information about the artist can be found below under Additional Information.
