An early 20th century barrister’s secretary bookcase by the Grand Rapids Michigan Co. This rectangular top piece with conforming case features two glass panel cabinet doors over a drop panel cabinet door opening to petite drawers, small storage compartments, and a work surface. The lower base features a third glass panel cabinet door and two aligned cabinet doors. The back of the cornice retains a triangular label marked ‘GRM / Made In Grand Rapids / Trade Mark / Registered’.
