An oil painting on canvas designed by well-listed American artist Lee (Reynolds) Burr (Califfornia, born 1936). This painting features a stylized depiction of a white owl, perched in the branches of an evergreen tree, rendered in a soft neutral palette. This work is signed to lower right. It is presented in a silver tone metal frame and is ready to hang with a wire.

Lee Burr was quoted as saying, “Lee Reynolds was simply a trade name. It was attached to numerous artworks and designs at Vanguard Studios. Vanguard Studios was the largest distributor of decorative art in the world at the time. I guided product development. I was personally responsible for many designs, prototypes, and compositions; however, no “LEE REYNOLDS” signed paintings were actually done by my hand.’
