A reproduction oil painting on canvas titled Master Tennyson by an anonymous artist, dated to the mid 20th century. The work depicts the image of an earlier English School 18th century portrait of a boy with a rabbit in his arms. The Romantic style painting features a decorative and intentional alligator cracking finish to the surface. There is a label to the verso from Chelsea House describing the work. It is presented in a gilt wood frame with foliate cartouche molding and an oval-windowed liner. There is wire to the verso for hanging.

- some scuffs and marks to frame finish; fabric backing peeling back in upper left corner to verso; accretion to backing.
