A signed Italian Artistica hand painted ceramic tureen. The green, apricot and terra cotta-painted tureen is in an urn form with foliate-shaped side handles painted with green leaves, an oval lid with finial painted in a radial striped pattern, with the body decorated with heraldic birds and shields. The tureen sits on a raised oval base with scalloped foot. The marked ‘Artistica Italy’ along with maker’s name to the verso.
