A gouache painting on paperboard by Pittsburgh-based artist Irene Montana (b. 1930). This work features Monument Hill located in the north side of Pittsburgh. Some handwritten inscriptions by an unknown hand are present to the verso providing the artist, subject, and date. The work is presented under glass with black matting and house in a silver-tone wood frame.
Condition
- some wear to edges of paperboard; contents are loose in frame and need securing; no backing present to frame; wear in frame includes stains, scratches, and finish loss throughout.
