A hand-knotted Chinese carved wool round area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, mauve, wheat, jade, gold, apricot, and rust. The ivory colored field features a sculpted central medallion with flower filled vases enclosed by fret and floral motifs, which is the same pattern that frames the field. The field also features vases throughout with an array of arrangements. Finishing this rug is a cotton warp and weft fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
