A hand-knotted Chinese carved wool area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of ivory, camel, mauve, silver, gold, burnt orange, rust, jade, and aqua. The ivory colored field begins with a central floral themed round medallion, while featuring an allover sculpted floral design. Framing the field is a floral border that coordinates with the medallion edged in leaf motifs. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton kilim skirt with cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
